Discover our Special Offers at Lucksall Park!
June 2026
As the days stretch out and the Herefordshire countryside bursts into life, June stands out as one of the most beautiful times of the year to explore the Wye Valley. There is a certain energy in the air when the meadows are lush, and the river is calm.
This year, there is an extra reason to visit Lucksall Holiday Park, as we prepare for the Root to Fruit Garden Festival, a celebration of nature and community.
On Saturday, 6th June, the Steiner Academy in Much Dewchurch will host the root to fruit garden festival. From 10:30 am until 4 pm, this event stands as a true highlight for anyone who appreciates the craft of gardening and the beauty of the outdoors. Set within stunning surroundings, the festival brings together people from across the county to share a love for horticulture and traditional skills.
Whether you are a seasoned grower or someone who simply enjoys a peaceful day out, the festival has plenty to offer. You can spend your time browsing a variety of stalls that sell everything from rare plants and healthy roots to unique pieces of local art. It is a fantastic opportunity to find something special for your own garden while supporting local artisans and growers from the community.
The day is designed to be a relaxed and inclusive experience for every person who attends. To help you plan your visit, here is a look at what you can enjoy:
If you want to keep an eye on the schedule or find more information as the date approaches, you can visit the festival website or check their social media pages.

Our site is just a short, scenic drive from the festival, giving you the best of both worlds.
After a day of exploring root to fruit, head back to the park and let us handle the cooking. Our on-site Riverside Bar and Eatery is the perfect spot for people to relax with a meal overlooking the water. It is a wonderful way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful Wye Valley after the excitement of the festival.
