Spring Has Sprung!

We’re excited to announce that we are open for the new season!

Thankfully we didn’t have the snow and bad weather like we did the previous year, only a light dusting which soon melted away. Throughout the months we have been closed, as a team we’ve been spending time and keeping very busy getting the caravan park ready for the new season. Lucksall has been open to all owners since 1^st March and it’s been great to see so many of you back on park.

As you walk around the caravan park, there is a definite feeling of Spring in the air. The daffodils are popping up all around the place and the river bank is looking lovely with a splash of yellow!

The ducks have started pairing up and looking for places to nest, and we look forward to seeing the ducklings hatch and start to explore the caravan park. Unfortunately, last year some ducklings were separated from their mothers and as a team we reared 14 ducklings. When they were all big enough, we returned them to the River Wye next to the caravan park.

If you are looking to visit Lucksall for a short term stay, our Glamping units are all up and running and ready to welcome you. Throughout March, Riverside Bar & Eatery will only be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With a good selection of local ciders and ales to get your taste buds going. Riverside serves cooked breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Sunday Lunch is definitely not to be missed, however booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
